Helen Ryder BSc-Psych, PgDip(Child-Development), MBPsS


Helen is an experienced Parenting Practitioner and Emotion Coach. She is passionate about supporting children and families by helping parents/guardians and has experience of working in and/or for: schools, universities, local government, charities and churches.


She has worked with many parents and young people in both Group and One-2-One/Two settings. She is married, with two grown-up married sons and one grandchild.

Principal Practitioner

Hope Parenting is a Parenting & Family Support Services business with a variety of offerings to help support parents/guardians, grand-parents and families. In particular, Parenting Training and Emotion Coaching.


Principal Parenting Parenting Practitioner and Managing Associate, Helen Ryder has c 15-20-years of training and experience at in the field of Parenting & Family Support. This is in parallel with her qualifications in Psychology & Child Development, Emotion Coaching, Counselling and Adult Learning & Training Education. She also has her own personal experience as a Mum and Parent/Grand-Parent too.


As and/or when required, Associates bring complementary training and experience to the Hope Parenting Offerings. It is o.en helpful to have such support from an experienced third-party to help provide Parents and Family-Members with a wider, independent perspective, as well as additional skills for probably the toughest job we will ever have – i.e. “raising children and helping to build and adults”.


Hope-Parenting™ is based in Gloucestershire, but offers Courses and One-2-One/Two Support across and/or throughout the Adjacent-Counties/Cities in the South-West/South-Midlands Region and UK-Wide via Webinars and Video-Conferencing.
